Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated October 18, 2026

The short version

Some links on comptoclose.com and on Comp to Close social channels are, or may become, affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a commission. You don’t pay anything extra.

How affiliate links work here

Comp to Close participates, or may participate, in affiliate programs run by retailers, software companies, and affiliate networks such as Amazon Associates, CJ, and PartnerStack. These programs pay a commission when someone buys or signs up through a tracked link.

Commissions help cover the cost of producing content. They don’t change our opinion of a product, and we don’t accept payment in exchange for a positive review.

Amazon Associates

As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.

This statement applies once Comp to Close is enrolled in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.

Sponsored content and free products

If a company pays us, or gives us a product or service for free, to feature it, we will say so clearly in that post or video, close to the content itself. On social platforms, we use the platform’s paid-partnership label or a clear tag such as “#ad” or “Sponsored.”

Why we disclose

The U.S. Federal Trade Commission requires creators to disclose material connections with the brands they mention. Beyond the rules, you should know when we have a financial interest in a recommendation, so you can weigh it accordingly.

Not professional advice

Content on Comp to Close is for general information and education. It is not legal, financial, tax, or investment advice. Check local rules, your brokerage’s policies, and qualified professionals before acting on it.
